Season 2, Dinner 2: Halloween Edition!

Wednesday, October 31st at 6:30 pm
Erin Parker's house, 2505 Dahle Street

Message from Erin:

Let's celebrate this mid-week holiday with a community dinner- the theme is obviously "Halloween";  interpret it as you will!

I live in a neighborhood with lots of families, so there will probably be trick-or-treaters dropping by as well.

(You may want to bring a chair, as I still lack a great deal of furniture;)

Thanksgiving Food Drive

Hey guys - we did this last year so I thought I'd put the info out again! This was in Absolutely Art's Newsletter I received today. I say we take advantage of their offer!

It is that time of year and once again, the Goodman Community Center will be the only Dane County Food Pantry supplying complete Thanksgiving Baskets to families across the county.

Our generous community is needed to fill this great need! Goodman Community Center is committed to providing complete Thanksgiving meals for families in need and we have over 2,000 families on our list.
We want to serve them all!

In support of this great community food drive, Absolutely Art is a donation drop off location. For every item you donate, take $1 off your purchase at Absolutely Art. $5 maximum.

Goodman Community Center Thanksgiving Food Drive is looking for these specific items:

Vegetables (cans)
Fruit (cans)
Gravy (jars)
Cranberry Sauce (cans)
Pumpkin Pie Mix
Evaporated Milk
Jiffy Pie Crust Mix (boxes)
Aluminum Pie Tins
Disposable Roaster Pans

Your financial donation helps purchase frozen turkeys, eggs, milk, fresh veggies, and rolls to include with each Thanksgiving basket.  We will be taking your financial donations as well.

For more information call 241.1574 x249, or stop by the center (149 Waubesa St.) during business hours or go to www.goodmancenter.org .
